Study identifies molecule in stingless bee propolis that can kill dengue mosquito larvae

In Brazil, researchers from the University of São Paulo (USP), the University of Brasília (UnB), and two startups in the city of Ribeirão Preto have found a compound in the propolis of the stingless bee known as mandaçaia (Melipona quadrifasciata) that kills Aedes aegypti larvae.
